Business Development Executive

Job Description:

Join Zoop Charge as a Business Development Executive and play a key role in expanding our EV charging infrastructure network and partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing partnerships, onboarding charging station locations, and driving sales of EV charging solutions.

You will work closely with infrastructure partners, commercial property owners, fleet operators, and corporate clients to expand the Zoop Charge network. This role requires strong relationship management, field sales, and business development capabilities in a fast-growing EV ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for EV charging station deployment.
  • Approach commercial property owners, malls, hotels, offices, and highway locations for charging station partnerships.
  • Develop partnerships with fleet operators, logistics companies, and EV ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end business development cycle including lead generation, meetings, negotiations, and closures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, vendors, and clients.
  • Conduct site feasibility discussions in coordination with technical teams.
  • Prepare proposals, commercial discussions, and partnership agreements.
  • Track leads, conversions, and partnership pipeline.
  • Coordinate with operations and technical teams for deployment and onboarding of new locations.
  • Represent Zoop Charge in meetings, events, and EV ecosystem discussions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, or Infrastructure/Technology Sales.
  • Experience in EV, energy, infrastructure, real estate partnerships, or B2B sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle field sales and partner meetings.
  • Understanding of EV ecosystem, charging infrastructure, or mobility sector is an advantage.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships.
  • Strong networking and client acquisition skills.
  • Willingness to travel for partner meetings and site visits.
  • Ability to manage sales pipeline and achieve business development targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, presentations, and CRM tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
